Further 2023 Meetings

Thursday 7 December 2023

Swillington Village Hall is sited in the grounds of Swillington Primary School, next door to the parish church. There is secure parking on site, accessed through double gates. Make sure your car does not cross the white line on the approach before you use the intercom to gain entry as the gates open outwards. The gates open automatically when you leave. Those on foot can use the single gate on the right. Access on foot and by car can be gained from 19:15.

There will be tea and coffee available during the meeting, but members can bring their own choice of beverage if they want, including alcohol. Please remember to bring your own glasses and to take empty bottles and cans home with you.

Meetings usually start with a talk, lasting about an hour. A short agenda of Group business is then discussed, followed by socialising.

The Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS)

Please note that on the following days (all Sundays) several members of the Group carry

out a WeBS count for the BTO, this may cause some wildlife disturbance in some areas
